基于国际法、反战伦理、历史事实与民主原则的呼吁与声明

我们坚决反对大陆共产党政权用任何方式对台湾动武，
一定要守住台海的和平、区域的稳定，以及大家共同遵守的国际规则。战争绝对不是民族复兴的路，
动武只会带来灾难、仇恨和好几代人都愈合不了的伤痛。
台海和平不只关系到台湾2300万人的安全和尊严，
也关系到大陆老百姓的未来，
更关系到整个印太地区，甚至全世界的和平与秩序。根据《联合国宪章》第2条第4款，
任何用武力威胁或直接动手来解决政治争端的行，
都是严重违反国际法的基本原则。
一旦牵涉到战争、武力威胁或区域安全，
这件事就不再是哪个政权能单方面说了算的“内政”了。长期以来，大陆当局一直把台湾问题说成是“纯粹中国内政”，
想用这招把国际社会的关注挡在外面。
但在国际法里，凡是牵涉到和平安全、武力使用和人民自决的问题，
本质上就带有国际性，没人能否认。国际法清楚承认“人民自决”的权利，
这条原则写进了《联合国宪章》和《公民与政治权利国际公约》等重要文件。
一个地方已经长期自己治理、有完整社会结构和民主机制，
人民有权决定自己的未来，
任何政权否认这一点，都违背了现代国际法的精神和道德基础。说来还挺讽刺的：
当年中共在延安的时候，
最积极借助国际力量、国际舆论和外国承认来帮自己站稳脚跟、取得合法性。
如今却把台海问题说成“纯内政”，
不只在法理上说不通，
也等于自己否定了当年靠国际秩序上位的历史。历史经验告诉我们：
如果对台湾动武最后失败了，
那不只是军事上的挫败，
更可能是大陆极权统治合法性彻底崩盘的开始。
当恐惧统治兑现不了胜利的承诺，
当谎言和民族主义再也骗不了人，
整个体制内外的信任就会迅速崩解。
也许正是在那个时候，
中国的民主才会从口号变成现实，
真正落地、生根，成为无法逆转的历史潮流。拒绝战争，就是尊重生命；

A Call and Declaration Based on International Law, Anti-War Ethics, Historical Facts, and Democratic Principles

We firmly oppose the Chinese Communist regime using force against Taiwan in any way.
We must resolutely safeguard peace in the Taiwan Strait, regional stability, and the international rules that everyone abides by.War is absolutely not the path to national rejuvenation.
The use of force will only bring disaster, hatred, and wounds that take generations to heal.
Peace in the Taiwan Strait is not just about the safety and dignity of Taiwan’s 23 million people—
it also concerns the future of ordinary people on the mainland,
and even more so, the peace and order of the entire Indo-Pacific region and the world.According to Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the United Nations Charter,
any threat or use of force to resolve political disputes
is a serious violation of the fundamental principles of international law.
Once war, threats of force, or regional security are involved,
the matter is no longer something any regime can unilaterally claim as its “internal affair.”For a long time, the mainland authorities have insisted on calling the Taiwan issue “purely China’s internal affair,”
trying to use this tactic to block international concern.
But under international law, any issue involving peace and security, the use of force, or the people’s right to self-determination
inherently carries an international character that no one can deny.International law clearly recognizes the right to “self-determination of peoples,”
a principle enshrined in important documents such as the United Nations Charter and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
A place that has long governed itself, with a complete social structure and democratic mechanisms,
has the right for its people to decide their own future.
Any regime that denies this goes against the spirit and moral foundation of modern international law.It’s quite ironic:
Back in the Yan’an days, the Chinese Communist Party
was the most active in relying on international forces, global public opinion, and foreign recognition
to stabilize its position and gain legitimacy.
Today, by labeling the Taiwan Strait issue as “purely internal,”
it not only fails on legal grounds,
but also negates its own history of rising to power through the international order.Historical experience tells us:
If force is used against Taiwan and it ultimately fails,
it won’t just be a military setback—
it could very well mark the beginning of the complete collapse of the legitimacy of authoritarian rule on the mainland.
When rule by fear cannot deliver on promises of victory,
when lies and nationalism can no longer deceive people,
trust inside and outside the system will rapidly crumble.
Perhaps it is at that moment
that democracy in China will move from slogans to reality,
truly taking root and becoming an irreversible historical trend.Rejecting war is respecting life;
