多伦多风雪中纪念“中理大之战”抗议集会

2025年11月9日，多伦多下起了入冬以来的第一场大雪，在 2019“中理大之战”爆发纪念日之际，在多伦多中国领事馆门前，香港多个人权团体在风雪里举行集会抗议。中国民主党加拿大委员会坚定支持香港人民争取自由民主。在11月9日参加了本次集会抗议活动。本次活动由刘岩组织发起。参加党员有刘岩 侯世軍 张纬经 项琴芳 刘明宇 林翔 陈秀清。党员们在中国领事馆门前撑起了象征香港自由独立的黄色雨伞，并展示了释放邹幸彤 李卓人的标语。

 “中理大之战”通常指2019年香港反修例运动期间发生在香港中文大学（中大）和香港理工大学（理大）的两次重大警民冲突事件。这两个事件被示威者称为“中大保卫战”（或“中大之战”）和“理大围城战”（或“理大之战”），是运动中规模最大、最激烈的校园对抗，象征着香港勇武派抗争者对警方镇压的顽强抵抗。

茉莉花快闪抗议行动 Jasmine Flash Mob Protest 是由中国民主党加拿大委员会理事刘岩在2025年发起创立的抗议中共独裁统治的抗议行动。

On October 9, 2025, Toronto experienced its first major snowfall of the winter. On the anniversary of the 2019 “CUHK-PolyU Battles,” multiple Hong Kong human rights groups held a protest rally in the wind and snow outside the Chinese Consulate in Toronto. The Canadian Committee of the China Democracy Party firmly supports the Hong Kong people’s fight for freedom and democracy. On November 9, it participated in this protest rally. The event was organized and initiated by Liu Yan. Participating party members included Liu Yan, Hou Shijun, Zhang Weijing, Xiang Qinfang, Liu Mingyu, Lin Xiang, and Chen Xiuqing. The party members held up yellow umbrellas symbolizing Hong Kong’s freedom and independence in front of the Chinese Consulate and displayed banners demanding the release of Chow Hang-tung and Lee Cheuk-yan.

The “CUHK-PolyU Battles” typically refer to the two major police-protester clashes that occurred at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) during the 2019 anti-extradition bill movement in Hong Kong. These events were dubbed by protesters as the “CUHK Defense Battle” (or “CUHK Battle”) and the “PolyU Siege” (or “PolyU Battle”), representing the largest and most intense campus confrontations of the movement and symbolizing the valiant faction’s tenacious resistance against police suppression.

For safety reasons and at the request of the organizers, no photos were taken of Hong Kong youth groups at the event.

The Jasmine Flash Mob Protest is a protest action against the Chinese Communist Party’s authoritarian rule, founded and initiated in 2025 by Liu Yan, a council member of the Canadian Committee of the DPC.
