多伦多支联会要求释放邹幸彤李卓人集会

援引多家媒体报道，10月28日，来自12国、92个民间团体与个人联合发布声明，强烈要求七国集团（G7）、欧盟及欧洲经济区（EEA）向中共香港政府施压，立即无条件释放香港支联会正副主席李卓人与邹幸彤 Release Chow and Lee  ，并撤销所有相关指控。声明同时宣布，11月2日将在多伦多、温哥华，11月8日在伦敦举行全球同步集会，声援两位已被羁押超过1,500天的民主人士。
中国民主党加拿大委员会参加了11月2日 多伦多支联会组织的集会抗议 “釋放鄒幸彤 釋放李卓人 Release Chow and Lee”   。中国民主党要求中共立即释放邹幸彤和释放李卓人。

本次活动由理事刘岩召集，以茉莉花快闪抗议形式参加。理事刘岩现场发言表达香港支联会纪念64天安门屠杀的感激，并支持香港人追求自由和民主。并表达了对支联会三十多年点燃维园烛光的感谢。香港人加油！

刘岩 做了主题为“为香港良知者发声”的演讲内容如下：

老实说，我感到很惭愧。作为一个在中国大陆长大的人。 当我看到香港的人们——像邹幸彤、李卓人——他们在纪念六四，在为真相和正义点燃烛光的时候， 我们大陆的很多人，却连一句“纪念”都不敢说出口。 更别说走上街头，去呼喊、去抗争。 他们因为坚持真相、因为守护这份记忆，就被中共抓、被判刑、被关起来。 而在今天，大多数中国人，甚至都不知道他们的名字。 可是几十年来，他们从来没有忘记那一夜——1989年6月4日。 他们年复一年地在维园举起蜡烛，为那些逝去的年轻生命点亮光明。 如今，中共却把这群良心之人，当成“罪犯”对待。 他们被迫害、被打压，只因为他们相信——人有权知道真相， 国家有权记得历史，人民有权拥有自由。 我要在这里明确地说一句： 所谓的“香港国安法”，是恶法，是非法！ 它不是为了保护国家安全，而是为了掩盖真相、压制香港的自由、摧毁践踏了香港的法治与良知。 我想说： 香港人在付出、香港在流血，而我们中国大陆人不能再沉默 不能视而不见 因为香港人点的那盏烛光，本该是我们每一个中国人共同点亮的烛光 今天，我们要为他们发声，让全世界知道 他们是时代的良心，是香港的良心。 我们更要让自己知道，沉默并不能换来安全， 唯有勇气，才能让真相延续下去。 最后我想说 释放邹幸彤 ，释放李卓人，香港人加油！光复香港 时代革命。

Today, I grew up in mainland China, and to be honest, I feel deeply ashamed. Because when I see our friends in Hong Kong — people like Chow Hang-tung and Lee Cheuk-yan — standing up to commemorate June Fourth, lighting candles for truth and justice, so many people in mainland China don的dare to say a single word of remembrance. Let alone stand up, speak out, or protest. They were arrested, imprisoned, and silenced — simply because they insisted on truth and on remembering what happened. And today, most people in China don’t even know their names. But for decades, they never forgot that night — June 4, 1989. Year after year, they lit candles in Victoria Park for the young lives that were taken. Now, the Chinese Communist Party treats these people of conscience as criminals. They are persecuted and suppressed only because they believe that people have the right to know the truth, that a city has the right to remember its history, and that a nation’s people have the right to be free. Let me say this loud and clear: The so-called Hong Kong National Security Law is an evil law — an illegal law. It is not about protecting national security; it is about hiding the truth, silencing freedom, and destroying Hong Kong’s rule of law and conscience. Friends, Hong Kongers are bleeding, they are paying the price — and we, people from the mainland, can no longer stay silent. Because that candle they lit should have been ours too — the light that belongs to every Chinese person who still remembers, who still cares. Today, we must speak up for them. We must tell the world: those who commemorate June Fourth are not criminals — they are the conscience of our times. And we must remind ourselves: silence will not keep us safe. Only courage will keep the truth alive. Release Chow Hang-tung, release Lee Cheuk-yan, Hong Kongers, keep going! Liberate Hong Kong! Revolution of our time!
