我们经过长期观察后认为，中文先驱报是在利用新西兰先驱报的品牌，利用华人对NZ Herald的信任，有意或被迫的，在协助CCP对新西兰华人洗脑，因此我们向您请求，新西兰先驱报取消与中文先驱报的品牌合作。
除了Stuff报道的CNZH的错误翻译，我们观察到，在涉及中国的重要新闻上CNZHerald采取的是一边倒赞扬CCP的立场，完全回避批评性的重大新闻。
例1：习近平取消主席任期限制，是2018年中国新闻头等大事，使用谷歌搜索CNZH网站“习近平任期 site:chinesenzherald.co.nz”，时间限制为过去的一年，仅有1篇报道，且是转载新华社通稿。而关于“XI Jingping term limit”的文章，在NZH过去一年里共有8篇，全是批评。是“习近平”对CNZH来说不重要？不，过去一年CNZH网站有近100篇习近平的正面报道。
其它话题，如人权律师，法轮功，西藏人权，同样如此。
CNZH挂着NZH的品牌，却是一种只赞美不批评、为外国政治利益服务的媒体，目前NZ没有法律能约束他，它也享有NZ的新闻自由，但这每天都在伤害合作方NZH的声誉，每天都在协助CCP对华文读者洗脑。大多数华文媒体的都有意或被迫参与这种洗脑协助，长持以往，将威胁着NZ的国家安全和民主制度。试想一下，当占人口5%的NZ华人，不断的被洗脑，越来越崇拜和忠诚于CCP。当NZ政府和中国政府（CCP）发生利益冲突时，当大选中CCP反对或支持某个政客时，大多数NZ华人将支持CCP的立场，这后果有多严重。
因此，我们请求您，下令取消禁止CNZH使用NZH的品牌，同时关注多数华文媒体成为CCP洗脑工具的问题，维护NZ真正的新闻自由。

Dear Mr Currie,
NZVA is a group of Chinese organizations that believe in and defend New Zealand values.
After a long period of observation, we believe that the Chinese NZ Herald(NZCH) is using the brand of the New Zealand Herald(NZH), using the Chinese trust in NZ Herald, intentionally or forced to censor news, to assist the CCP to brainwash New Zealand Chinese, so we request you, New Zealand Herald cancel the cooperation with the Chinese NZ Herald brand.
In addition to the mistranslation of CNZH reported by Stuff, we observed that CNZH took a one-sided praise of the CCP's position in important news about China, completely avoiding criticizm.
Example 1: Xi Jinping abolished presidential term limits is the top priority of China's news in 2018. Using Google to search the CNZH website "习近平任期(Xi Jingping term) site: chinesenzherald.co.nz", choose time limit the past year, only get one report, and reprinted from Xinhua News Agency. Google "XI Jingping term limit site:nzherald.co.nz" has 8 articles in the past year, all of them are criticisms. Is Xi Jinping not important to CNZH? No, there have been nearly 100 positive reports of Xi on the CNZH website in the past year.
Example 2: Xinjiang concentration camp. set the past year, Google “新疆维吾尔（Xinjiang Uyghurs） site: chinesenzherald.co.nz” has no one article, and Google “Xinjiang Uyghurs site: nzherald.co.nz” has 11 articles, 8 of which had talked about concentration camps or detention centers.
Other topics, such as human rights lawyers, Falun Gong, and Tibetan human rights, are same censored in CNZH.
CNZH hangs the NZH brand on its website, but it only praises and doesn't criticize CCP ,on some level it serves foreign political interests. At present, NZ has no laws to restrain it, it also can enjoy NZ's freedom of the press, but this is hurting the partner NZH's reputation and brand every day,this is helping the CCP to brainwash NZ Chinese readers.
Most Chinese media are intentional or forced to participate in CCP United Front's brainwashing overseas Chinese. Day after day, that would threaten NZ's national security and democratic system. Imagine that , when the NZ Chinese, who account for 5% of the population, are constantly being brainwashed to increase worship and loyalty to the CCP. When there is a conflict between the NZ government and the Chinese government (CCP), when the CCP opposes or supports a politician, most NZ Chinese will support the CCP's position and decision, and the consequences are serious.
Therefore, we ask you to order the cancellation of the CNZH using NZH brand, and pay attention to the problem that most local Chinese media have become CCP brainwashing tools, and help maintaining NZ's true freedom of the press.
