纽西兰、澳州价值联盟关于谴责俄罗斯支持乌克兰的公开信（中英文）

俄罗斯大举入侵乌克兰已经二周了，全世界为之震惊。我们是一群热爱和平的新西兰与澳洲华人，我们强烈谴责俄罗斯的侵略行径，我们坚定地与乌克兰站在一起，因为乌克兰是为捍卫自由、民主、人权和尊严而战，与我们志同道合，非常担心俄罗斯的入侵将引发世界大战。

我们清楚地记得，2013年，中华人民共和国与乌克兰签订了友好条约。第五条规定：中华人民共和国和乌克兰相互有义务维护对方的领土完整。根据这个条约，现在的中国政府有义务谴责和制裁俄罗斯对乌克兰的侵略。

众所周知，在绝大多数西方国家都在制裁俄罗斯的情况下，中华人民共和国在政治上和经济上都是俄罗斯最大的支持者。纽澳价值联盟呼吁中华人民共和国履行它与乌克兰签订的友好条约，公开谴责俄罗斯对乌克兰的侵略，停止在政治和经济上支持发动侵略战争的俄罗斯。

众所周知，中华人民共和国的执政党是前苏联一手扶植出来的共产党。当年在卢布的支持和谎言的包装下，在前苏联占领东三省，并把东三省直接交给共产党军队的背景下，共产党以武力推翻了民选的国民政府；强占了国民政府大陆地区的土地。

今天中华民国虽小，仅仅拥有台湾一岛，但是她有民选的政府，是一个事实上独立的国家。

解决中国大陆和台湾的分治问题的唯一途径，就是中国大陆主动地全面实现民主化。我们反对以武力攻占台湾的任何企图，维护全世界的和平是我们每个普通中国人的共同愿望。

过去二周的乌克兰保卫战，已经证明反对战争,保护世界和平,是全世界绝大多数人的共同愿望！

Two Weeks passed since Russia launched an unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, sending shock and horror to the entire world. We are a group of peace-loving Chinese New Zealanders. We strongly condemn Russia's aggression, and we stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom, democracy, human rights and their way of life. The current situation is concerning since Russia's invasion might trigger a world war.

Back in 2013, the People's Republic of China signed a friendship treaty with the Ukraine. Article 5 of the treaty stipulates that the People's Republic of China and Ukraine are obligated to safeguard each other's territorial integrity. According to this treaty, the current Chinese government should condemn and sanction Russia's war against Ukraine. The People's Republic of China also signed a formal agreement against the use of nuclear weapons with Ukraine.

As we all know, the vast majority of Western countries are sanctioning Russia. However, the People's Republic of China is supporting Russia both economically and politically. The New Zealand Values Alliance calls on the People's Republic of China to honour their friendship treaty with Ukraine, condemn Russia's invasion of Ukraine and cease its political and economical support of Russia.

As we all know, the ruling party of the People's Republic of China is the Chinese Communist Party, which was propped up by the former Soviet Union with their cash their lies. At the end of WWII, the former Soviet Union occupied the three eastern provinces in China and handed them over directly to the Chinese Communists. The Communists in return used force to overthrow the Republic of China and forcibly occupied Mainland China.

Today, although the Republic of China only exists in Taiwan, it is a de facto independent country with its own democratically elected government. The only way to solve the Taiwan issue is for Communist China to end its totalitarian regime and cease its aggression towards Taiwan. We oppose any attempts by China to unify Taiwan by force. The pursuit of peace is a shared value of every ordinary Chinese person.

The Ukrainian resistance in the past eight days has demonstrated that defending freedom and democracy is the will of the Ukrainian people. Their bravery is truly inspirational for the entire world, and we support the Ukrainian people’s right to independence and self-determination.

New Zealand Values Alliance is a group of people who love New Zealand's values of democracy, freedom, equal rights for all and the rule of law.

The Values Alliance is a non-profit organisation. Its mission is to defend the democratic values of New Zealand, which are based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We believe that freedom of speech and freedom of expression are people’s fundamental civil liberties.

As citizens of New Zealand, we believe it is our duty to expose, criticise and counteract any political and financial attempts to infringe upon those rights, regardless of what regime, party or organisation.

In addition, we also aim to be socially responsible in our Kiwi society as we believe in protecting our environment and being actively involved in serving our communities.
