王丹：六.四”20周年纪念活动新闻发布会
在1989年“六•四”民主运动被血腥镇压20周年前夕，一批当年运动的参与者和受害者以及其他关心中国民主和自由发展的各界人士定于2009年4月27在纽约中华公所举行“1989年民主运动和“六四”屠杀20周年纪念活动中外记者新闻发布会”。
新闻发布会由当年的一些参与者，包括学生的代表王丹，刘刚，项小吉；六四伤残者代表方政；知识界的代表严家其，王军涛；北京工自联的代表李进进，北京市民的代表吕京花，海外民运的代表胡平，外省市学生运动的代表陈破空，以及侨界代表，中华公所主席于金山等联合召开。
新闻发布会上，组织者将针对筹备已久的六四二十周年纪念活动作出四点重大宣示，并将通报从4月27日开始将要开展的一系列纪念活动的时间地点，还将正式发布第一个民间关于“六•四”天安门事件完整的法律报告《一九八九年“六•四”事件20 周年纪念白皮书》。

Press Conference on the Memorial Activities at the Twentieth Anniversary of "June Fourth"
On the eve of the twentieth anniversary of the bloody suppression of the 1989 "June Fourth" democratic movement, a group of the movement's participants and suppression victims, as well as other individuals who care about the democracy and free development in China, decide to hold a press conference on April 17, 2009 at the 中华公所 at New York. The press conference is focused on the 20th anniversary memorial activities for the 1989 democratic movement and the June Fourth massacre.
The press conference will be co-hosted by Wang Dan and Liu Gang, who were the "Most Wanted" student leaders, Wang Juntao, accused as the "black hand" of the movement, Hu Ping, the Editor-in-Chief of Beijing Spring, Yan Jiaqi, former president of the Institute of Political Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Li Jinjin, who was the legal council of the Beijing Workers Autonomous Federation. Yu Jinshang, the president of New York 中华公所 will also attend.
At the conference, the organizers will disclose four significant announcements regarding the long-planed memorial activities at the occasion of the twentieth anniversary. They will also brief on the time and locations of a series of memorial activities starting on April 27. A comprehensive white paper, the first complete legal report on the 1989 movement by non-government sources, will be formally introduced.
