Snow Lotus in the Realm of Bliss 佛国的雪莲花
Yamantaka
In nineteen fifty-nine, fire rained upon the sacred Lhasa skies
The colonizer’s blade carved deep — Tibet’s flesh to the bone
Thus began the long night of Dharma’s sorrow,
Yet fierce, undying spirits still rise through storms of blood
一九五九，拉萨的圣空炮火如雨，
殖民之刃劈裂图博血肉，痛彻骨髓
灭佛的暗夜开启无尽哀痛，
不死的英魂对峙残暴，挺立血风中
More cruel than blades is lying tongue of the enemy;
Slander and spite are the weapons it wields
So foul its speech — a shadow against Buddha’s voice,
Each cursed word a brick in its own hell
比利刃更残忍的是顽敌的谎言；
造谣与仇毒，是它善用的兵器
污言秽语，句句亵渎觉者的法语，
字字恶言，堆砌埋葬它自身的地狱
This demon cannot bear the joy of peaceful mind;
It rages most at saints from the Western Pure Land
It defies karma, dares to spill the Buddha’s blood,
And slaughters our venerable lama Rinpoches
这魔最见不得众生安乐，
视极乐圣者为仇敌
不畏无间苦，敢出佛身血，
屠害尊贵的喇嘛仁波切
Tibetans are people no sword can conquer, no lie can tame;
Just as darkness can never swallow the light
Our tears are not for wounds or fallen kin,
But for the fear we may forget compassion for the beast
利刃、谎言无法征服图博，
正如暗夜永远无法吞噬光明
我们的泪，非为死伤哀痛己身，
只为忧心无法面对魔类起慈悲
In lands veiled by blood flags and terror,
You hold all beings in your heart, without exclusion
O, compassionate H.H. Dalai Lama, even Communist Party members are not forsaken by you
This is your vow — to remain with beings, until all their suffering ends
在血旗与恐惧覆盖的大地，
您将一切众生纳于悲心无遗漏
哦，慈悲的达赖喇嘛尊者，共产党员您都不曾舍弃
此乃您的誓愿——与一切众生同在，直至众苦皆尽
In this pure land surrounded by snowcapped mountains,
you are the source of every happiness and well-being
O, powerful Avalokiteshvara Tenzin Gyatso,
may you remain until the end of samsara
在这雪山环绕的净土，
您是一切幸福、安乐的源泉
哦，具大威势的观音尊者丹增嘉措，
愿您驻锡直至轮回尽
