邱兰、张昕伟高喊 :Free Tibet、Free HK、Take down CCP。
CCP out 、Free HK Take down CCP
Free Tibet、Free Hong Kong、Free China、Take down CCP。
Take down CCP”
“Free Tibet!”
“Free Hong Kong!”
“Free China!”
“Take down CCP”
“Free Tibet! Free China! FreeChina! Take down CCP!”
World Human Rights Day
Joint Han–Tibetan Protest Against CCP Human Rights Abuses
China Democracy Party Joins Persecuted Ethnic Groups and Human Rights Organizations
Han–Tibetan Joint Protest Against CCP Tyranny on World Human Rights Day
[Toronto] On December 10, 2025, World Human Rights Day, the China Democracy Party Canada Committee, together with the Tibetan Youth Congress (RTYC–Toronto), Hong Kong activists, and other organizations concerned with human rights conditions in Asia, held a joint protest in front of the Chinese Consulate-General in Toronto.
All participating groups have long suffered oppression by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). This gathering aimed to jointly condemn the CCP’s human rights abuses against different ethnic groups and to send a united, cross-ethnic voice of resistance against authoritarian rule to the international community.
Participants from the Democracy Party of China (DPC) in this Jasmine Flash Mob Protest included:
DPC Counciler Yan Liu, Alternate Council member Qiu Lan, Alternate Executive Member Xinwei Zhang, Party Members Shijun Hou, Mingyu Liu, and Bingyan Li.
Alternate Council member Lan Qiu delivered a speech condemning the CCP’s tyrannical trampling of human rights, which received praise from the Tibetan organization.
Qiu Lan and Xinwei Zhang shouted:
“Free Tibet!”
“Free Hong Kong!”
“Take Down the CCP!”
Party Member Mingyu Liu courageously shouted:
“The CCP Must Go!”
“Free Hong Kong!”
“Take Down the CCP!”
Party Member Shijun Hou, despite nearly suffering hypothermia in the freezing sleet, continued to stand firm and shout:
“Free Tibet!”
“Free Hong Kong!”
“Free China!”
“Take Down the CCP!”
Party Member Bingyan Li shouted:
“Take Down the CCP!”
Event organizer and DPC councillor Yan Liu led Han and Tibetan participants in chanting:
“Take Down the CCP!”
“Down with the CCP!”
“Down with Xi Jinping!”
Standing Firm in Sleet: From Daylight Until Complete Darkness
On that day, Toronto experienced sleet and sharply dropping temperatures. Nevertheless, participants persisted in standing in front of the consulate—from dusk until complete darkness—holding flags and placards. China Democracy Party members and Tibetan protesters continuously chanted:
“Down with the CCP!”
“Down with Xi Jinping!”
“Free Tibet!”
“Free Hong Kong!”
“Free China!”
“Take Down the CCP!”
The refusal to retreat in such harsh weather became the most powerful symbol of the night.
The China Democracy Party emphasized that CCP tyranny not only represses dissidents and civil society within China, but has also long imposed violence on Tibet, Xinjiang, Hong Kong, and other regions, carrying out systematic suppression of ethnicity, culture, religion, and freedom of expression.
“Anyone who pursues freedom can become a target of CCP repression.
The CCP’s persecution is not an ethnic issue, but a regime’s comprehensive control over human beings.”
Chinese –Tibetan Friendship and Cooperation:
Transcending Historical Wounds to Resist Tyranny Together
This event particularly demonstrated the growing atmosphere of Han–Tibetan friendship and cooperation in recent years.
Members of the China Democracy Party and representatives of RTYC–Toronto stood shoulder to shoulder on site, passing flags and microphones to one another and echoing each other’s chants. This symbolized not only unity, but also a form of political cooperation that transcends historical trauma and is grounded in a shared pursuit of freedom.
The event organizer, Tibetan Youth Congress (RTYC–Toronto), expressed gratitude for the China Democracy Party members’ support for Tibetan human rights, and specifically acknowledged them in a promotional video posted on its official social media account.
Multiple Han and Tibetan participants shouted together:
“Free Tibet!”
“Free China!”
“Free China!”
“Take Down the CCP!”
This scene became one of the most symbolically powerful moments of the day.
Cross-Ethnic Unity Is the CCP’s Greatest Fear
Event organizer Yan Liu stated:
• When Han Chinese, Tibetans, Hong Kongers, and other persecuted groups stand on the same front line, the situation the CCP fears most becomes reality.
• The CCP attempts to manufacture division through rhetoric such as “separatism” and “ethnic confrontation,” but the truth is:
What truly divides people is tyranny, and what truly brings different ethnic groups together is the shared struggle for freedom.
Jasmine Flash Mob Protest Continues,
Extending the Spirit of Human Rights Day into the City Center
After the protest, members of the China Democracy Party moved to Sankofa Square in Toronto to carry out an additional China Democracy Party–themed Jasmine Flash Mob Protest, displaying party flags and banners and voicing concern for the human rights conditions in China, Tibet, and Hong Kong.
Ending One-Party Dictatorship and Returning Power to the People
Is the Shared Goal of All Persecuted Groups
The China Democracy Party once again emphasized:
Only by ending the CCP’s one-party dictatorship can Han Chinese, Tibetans, Hong Kongers, and all persecuted peoples truly attain freedom, dignity, and peace.
