A great nation is built on a great mindset. To live in fear and to behave cowardly will not earn respect just as to use A-Q's psychological method to achieve a victory nobody knows. This is why President TR admired Japanese and despised Chinese.
I am not Lang Lang or know him, but it would have been stupid and ungrateful for him to play an anti-American song, since he got his start in America and lives here. Although the Korean War was an unfortunate episode that harmed Sino-American relations for two decades, my limited reading gave me an impression, which might be wrong, is that most American soldiers respected their Chinese counterparts, because they behaved manly.
